PT. Kartini Utama started its business a Marine supply company (ships chandler) back in the sixties and early seventies. It was founded and established in 1968 as CV. Kartini Utama. By 1972, it was incorporated as a limited company as PT. Kartini Utama. PT. Kartini Utama is a private and family owned company.
Today, PT. Kartini Utama has evolved into manufacturer of anodes, fabricator, contractor/subcontractor, estate owner, and several others. It also has grown its business sectors to develop several divisions to handle the clients’ industries as such that it has established its reputations in many major industries in the nation as one of the oldest company in the nation serving the oil & gas, marine, petrochemical, cement, mining, and power plant industries.
Realizing the potential markets and clients, PT. Kartini Utama adopted a working technique relationship strategies with other worldwide companies to form as an entity of one-group company to fulfill the EPC terminology to meet the clients criteria. To name few, our team group partners are from Europe, Canada, USA, India, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Africa.

Our facilities include warehouses at each office location; whereas Surabaya and Bangka Island facilities include manufacturing, fabricating, workshop, and non-ferrous laboratories. The main office is located at Jakarta the capital city of Indonesia.
PT. Kartini Utama is the holding company consisting of six other sister companies and spread throughout the Indonesian archipelagos. Its main businesses consist of manufacturing, fabricating, consulting, engineering, constructing, and supplies to the marine structures, mining and energy (oil & gas) business sectors.
PT. Kartini Utama’s clients – oil & gas industries, mining industries, petrochemical industries, power stations, food industries and private enterprises; majority in Indonesia and some from other world – are served by a multidisciplinary team of about 20 (and growing) specialized key staff allocated both in Indonesia and abroad; performing on an international level.
PT. Kartini Utama forms part of the Kartini Utama Group, Indonesia, which engages more than 200 - 400 employees spread-out throughout Indonesia.
